Saml Tarver, Benja Tarver --------------- State of North Carolina Northampton County ANDREW TARVERS WILL In the name of God amen, I Andrew Tarver of the County of Northampton & State of North Carolina being of disposing mind & memory do constitute & ordain this my last will & testament & dispose of my wordly estate as follows. 1st I give & bequeath unto my daughter Mary Tarver our negro man named Mingo & one bed & furniture now in the possession of her husband Jacob Tarver to her & her heirs forever. 2nd I give & bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Harris one negro man named Peter & one Bed & furniture now in the possession of her husband Absolom Harris to her & her heirs forever. 3rd I give & bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Loyd one bed & furniture. 4th I give & bequeath unto my daughter Linda Low one negro by named Ned & one bed & furniture.now in possession of her husband John Low to her & her heirs forever 5th I give & bequeath unto my daughter Patience Tarver one negro Girl named Peg & her increase one bed & furniture to her & her heirs forever. 6th I give & bequeath [& bequeath is struck through and the "un" on unto is inserted here] unto unto my Daughter Prau Tarver one feather Bed & furniture & I also lend her our negro woman named Mall during her life & provided she marries I give the negro Mall but not her increase to her & her heirs forever. 7th I lend unto my wife Elizabeth Tarver one negro man named Killifur & one negro woman named Daphney during her widowhood. 8th My will & desire is that all that part of my Estate both real & personal which I have not disposed of be continued in the hands of my son John Tarver for the support of the brothers until my youngest son comes to lawful age & then to be Equally divided amongst my four sons & it is also my will that the negroes Killifur & Daphney which I have but [sic] unto my wife be equally divided amongst the Brothers when they decend from her & likewise that Moll & her increase be likewise Equally divided amongst the four Brothers. And I do hereby nominate & appoint my son John Tarver my whole & sole Exer of this my last will & testament. In witness whereof I have signed & delivered in the presence of.
