William E Lesage, H P Perry, and H V Wooten --------------- State of Alabama Lowndes County LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF BENJAMIN TARVER I Benjamin Tarver Give and bequeath all my property both Real and Personal to my Four grand children (towit) Benjamin Hume, Mary Mildred, Ellen Field, and Elizabeth Young Tarver to be held after all my debts are paid by John A and Mary F Tarver for the use of said children untill they arrive at age of marry Provided that the said John A and Mary F Tarver have the privilege of disposing of the Real Estate of said Benjamin Tarver at the Expiration of Five years the proceeds to be held or applied to the purchase of other property for the use & benefit of said children. The marriage of John Andrew Tarver and Mary F Field is recorded in Tuscaloosa Co., Alabma marriages, 13 May 1829, T454, p. 17. ---- Dallas Co., vol. 90, p. 49 On 30 April 1835, Constantine H Perkins, as admr. of Hume R Field deceased filed a petition in Orphan's Court praying for sale of real estate of his intestate. Heirs: Nancy Field, relict and widow who resides in New London, Connecticutt; Harriet H Perkins, daughter of H R Field, who resides in Williamson Co., Tenn.; Eliza A Perkins, wife of petitioner; Edward R Field, who resides in Pulaski Co., Tenn.; Jane M Field, infant wihtin age of 21; Henrietta S Field, infant within age of 21 and residing in New London, Conn. Henry A Snow, guardian ad litem of Jane and Henrietta S Field. ---- Tuscaloosa Co., vol. 25, p. 66 Book M, p. 256 January 1837 Harriet H Perkins, Eliza Ann Perkins, and Edward R Fields, heirs and distributees of Hume R Field *(Hume R Fields m. 1827 Nancy Starr), deceased. Hume R Field in his lifetime made a deed of gift to John A(ndrew) Tarver in right of Wife Mary F *(m. 1829), Jane M Field and Henrietta S Field, these the children of said Hume R Field.
