Obituary: The Dallas Morning News, 28 Dec 2000.

TARVER OTIS. Born in Birmingham, Alabama on May 9, 1950, he passed away on December 19, 2000 at his home in Dallas.

Otis Tarver served as a Sales Manager with Century 21 Galloway-Herron Realtors after retiring from the City of Dallas Housing Department where he served for 20 years. Otis was a leader in the Dallas County Democratic Party, a faithful member of the Concord Baptist Church, the Dallas Association of Real Estate Brokers, Alpha Phi Alpha, the Tuskegee University National Alumni Association, and board member of the Country Creek Condominium Association.

A memorial service will be held at Concord Baptist Church, 6808 Boulder Dr. on Saturday, December 30, 2000 at 11:00 a.m.
