Hello.
I am (John) Alan Wactor, mentioned on this page. If you'd like a little more information, here's some.
Dorothy Wactor has passed also, on December 24, 1997. She was born Dorothy Gene Bass, and her mother's
name was Cordie Mae Bass. Cordie's mother was a Brister (I think I have the spelling right.) The
Bass/Bristers lived in Ferriday, LA as far as I can remember, but Dorothy was born in Bogue Chitto MS.
John C. Wactor (father of Marcus Wactor) still lives in Choctaw, AR. He was born in Northern Louisiana; I'm
not sure where. His father was called Willie and his middle initial was D. He was Alderman of Clayton
Louisiana until his death sometime in the early 70's I think.
I hope this helps. If you like, I can put you in contact with my older sisters who probably have much more
information.
-Alan Wactor
