Subject: Absolem Tarver Query by Lygia D. Cutts <Cuttstree@twav.com>
I am looking for the parents of Absolom Tolbot DAWKINS, b. abt 1806 in GA. He married Sarah Rebecca PITTS, daughter of Hardy and Drucilla "Neal" PITTS, on 18 JAN 1825 in Warren Co., GA. A.T. DAWKINS moved to Henry Co., AL by 1830. I believe him to be the son of Robert and Winifred "Smith" DAWKINS but can not find documentation. After Robert's death Winifred married Robert PALMER of Warren Co., GA and A.T. DAWKINS is an executor of his will. Winifred was sister to Benjamin SMITH of GA and Ursula SMITH, wife of Absolom TARVER. Would love to hear from anyone researching these names.
