William Lee Descendants & Allied Families
Descendants of William Lee who died in Union County, SC (circa 12 Sept 1796) moved into south Mississippi and beyond. Collateral lines of Breed, Bates, Jackson, and Frazier moved with them. (Fraziers moved to Rapides Post, Louisiana.) These are the LEEs (and allied families) of interest to us. We would appreciate contact from others who can make of our research a collaborative effort.
I've neglected our LEE lines for a long time. I've put some old documents online that need to be reviewed and updated ... data needs to be confirmed. Maybe something in here will be helpful, however. At minumum, the wills and sources should prove helpful.
Or line is:
- Mary Ann Lilly, d/o William Lilly and Elizabeth Miller
- William Lilly, s/o James Lilly and Nancy Lee
- Nancy Lee, d/o William Lee, Sr. (died in St. Helena Par., LA, 1816) and Susannah --
- William Lee, Sr., s/o William Lee I (died in Union Co., SC, 1796) and Sarah --
Mary Ann Lilly married Samuel Wilson Tarver, who was my great-great grandfather.
