My grandfather, Constancio Cirilo. Constancio was the son of Pedro CIRILO and Gavina VILLAREAL.
Pedro CIRILO born ca 1849 possibly in Allende, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, married
about 1874 to Gavina VILLAREAL or Gabina VILLAREAL, born ca 1850, possibly in
San Isadora, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Gavina VILLAREAL is believed to be the
daughter of Anastacio VILLAREAL and Andrea ZAMORA.
Constancio Cirilo was born Mar 11, 1885. The 1920 census, Hamilton Co., Texas, gives his place of birth as Tamaul., Mexico. Family members contradict this, giving his place of birth as Progreso, Hidalgo County, Texas. Constancio died Jun 14, 1979 in Houston, Harris Co., Texas, and is buried with my grandmother (his wife) Guadalupe Guerra at San Jacinto Memorial Park Cem., Houston, Harris Co., Texas.
Constancio Cirilo and Guadalupe Guerra were the parents of thirteen children. Their eldest son, Eleazar Cirilo, was my father.
