Tarver-Gen Lineages: Cirilo, Alfrido, Ratcliff & Allied Families http://www.tarver-genealogy.net/lineages/cirilo/ -------------------- LAND DEED - Francisco Alfrido, 1877 -------------------- The State of Texas } County of Zapata } Know all men by these presents that on this the 12th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven that I Francisco Alfrido of the town of Guerrero, in the Republic of Mexico For and in consideration of the sum of Forty dollars (S40.00) to me in hand paid by Sabas Vasquez also of the town of Guerrero and Republic of Texas, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, released and conveyed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, release, convey and confirm unto the said Sabas Vasquez all my right, title and interest in and to a certain tract or parcel of land originally granted to my Grandfather Dimas Gonzales by authority of the State of Tamaulipas and from I inherited through my mother Trinidad Gonzales and known as —--------- situated lying and being in the county of Encinal and State of Texas, aforesaid, and fully described in the filed notes of the said tract recorded in the office of the County surveyor of the County of Webb, to which reference is hereby made for a full and accurate description thereof, being one half of undivided one seventh interest in a one half sitio of land more or less, together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anyone appertaining, and the revision and revisions, remainder and remainders rents, issues, and profits thereof and also all the estate, right, title interests, claim or demand whatsoever of mine, either in law or equity, of, in, and to, the above bargained premises, and every part and parcel thereof, to have and to hold to the said Sabas Vasquez his heirs, and assigns, to the sole and proper use, benefit, and behoof of said Sabas Vasquez his heirs and assigns forever. And I the said Francisco Alfrido do by these presents convey and agree that I am lawfully seized of the above described premises and property and do by these presents bind myself my heirs, executors, and administrators to warrant and forever defend the right and title to the same, against the claim or claims of any person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. In testimony whereas I the said Francisco Alfrido after having the foregoing instrument of writing fully explained to me have hereto set my hand and scroll for seal at the town of Carrizo within the State of Texas aforesaid, on the day and date first above written.
