The original record for Maria Rita Garcia can be found on LDS film
no. 1511726, bapt. no. 151 (also in Mexican Parish Records, Guerrero
Baptisms 1751-1876 at ancestry.com).  Rita Garcia was baptised on
January 2nd, 1852 at two days old in the Catholic Church at Guerrero,
Tamaulipas, Mexico, the legitimate daughter of D. Francisco Garcia
and Da. Nepomucena Garcia, by Francisco de Pena Benavides; godparents
were D. Francisco de P Benavides and Da. Matiana Benavides.

En esta Sta. Iglesia parroquial de ciudad Guerrero a dos de enero de
mil ochocientos cincuenta dos. Yo el prestibero D. Francisco de P.
Benavides cura engarado de ella: Bautise solemnemente y puse los
santos oleos y crisma a Maria Rita de dos dias de nacida hija
lejitima del finado D. Francisco Garcia y de D. Nepomucena Garcia.
Fueron padrinos Dona Maria Matiana Benavides y Yo.
