Tarver Cemetery was surveyed by Carroll C. Tarver in the fall of 1999 and transcribed for the Tarver-Gen Web site. This list includes all markers legible at the time of the survey. However, there were many more markers, so weatherbeaten they could not be read.
LOCATION: 151 km NE of Houston, Texas. This cemetery is located in NW part of Tyler Co. Take Farm Road #1745 E out of Chester, travel about 5 miles out of Chester to a fork in the road, angle to the right, cemetery is about 1/2 mile down dirt road, on right had side slightly off the road.
