Pinegrove Baptist Church Cemetery
Blade, La Salle Parish, Louisiana

LOCATION: Blade is only about 5 to 6 miles outside of Jena, in La Salle Parish, LA. Take US Hwy 84 southeast from Jena to Whitehall. ENE (slight left) onto Hwy 8 at Whitehall to Blade Loop Rd. North (left) on Blade Loop Rd. Road runs through the middle of the cemetery. Church will be on the left as you top a hill. Watch for the sign on Hwy 8 for the Pinegrove Baptist Church.

This is a rural piney woods community, with an active volunteer cemetery committee. The earliest markers that I found had death dates in the early 1800's (1804, 1829), with graves through present.
